Nico B.

Nico B is a Dutch filmmaker known for his 1998 underground horror production ''Pig'', the last work starring singer/songwriter Rozz Williams before his death a few months later. ''Pig'' premiered at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles and went on to play at international film festivals around the world including the Rotterdam Film Festival. A follow up, ''1334'', was made in 2011. In 2004, he wrote, produced, and directed the biographical film ''Bettie Page: Dark Angel''. ''Bettie Page: Dark Angel'' premiered at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival. Between 2005-2008 he wrote, produced, and directed the film ''Sin''.
He is the founder and owner of Cultvideotheek in Amsterdam and of Cult Epics, a distributor of cult movies in the arthouse, horror and erotica genres.
Various titles of the Cult Epics catalog were screened at the American Cinematheque, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Film Society of Lincoln Center and other art film institutions. A retrospective of Cult Epics releases was shown at Harvard University in 2011.
